learning lessons.

this past week i've learned so much.  

1. when you seek to please people you will WASTE YOUR TIME! 

why? because we should only seek to please God.  don't try to please people. you will either: a) make yourself sick, b) WASTE YOUR TIME, c) risk losing your sanity, or d) WASTE YOUR TIME. lol wow...LESSON LEARNED - if you aren't worried about how you can please people but seek instead to ONLY desire to please God, God is more pleased. AMEN!

2. God will give you the pieces you need for YOU to figure out the puzzle!

sometimes God will show you all the little pieces to a puzzle - you think you know what picture the puzzle pieces will make, but you're unsure because God didn't tell you EXACTLY what it'll be: "This puzzle is supposed to look like a daffodil," or "This puzzle is a school bus." sometimes, if the pieces fit, you just have to put the puzzle together.  you get to a point where saying to God, "well, these all seem to fit, but i'm just not sure. can you just TELL me?" is unbelief.  John 10:22-29.  wow, UNBELIEF... 

Here's a little saying from the commentary of Matthew Henry on this scripture:

"If Wisdom's sayings appear doubtful, the fault is not in the object, but in the eye; they are all plain to him that understands. Christ would make us to believe; we make ourselves to doubt."
